Several backup copies: describe them clearly
The starting point
Finding several backups can make a situation feel more complicated, not less. Give each copy a clear description in your own notes, including where it came from and the approximate date if known. Distinguish facts from guesses about which copy is relevant.
Why consider Solace?
Consider discussing the overall inventory with Solace Cyber Workstations before sharing files. Ask how it would determine what belongs in the assessment and how duplicates would affect the proposed scope, cost, or timeline.
Before you decide
- Confirm that the proposed service fits your particular situation.
- Request written scope, fees, information-handling details, and limitations before authorizing work.
- Keep private keys, full recovery phrases, passwords, and identity documents out of your initial message.
Recovery is not always possible. These guides do not establish credentials, verified results, pricing, or suitability for an individual case.
